About the Northern Valley Career Expo – Students

Learn about careers that are in demand right here in our region at the expo. Sophomore students will explore an exhibit floor with hands-on experiences comprised of career tasks and hear first-hand from professionals in each industry during break-out session

Student Session Preference & Registration Information

Opens September 9th

Work With Your School Contact

  • In order for students to attend the expo, their school must be registered to attend.
  • Students will work with a representative from their school to go through the registration process, as each school may have a different process.
  • Please confirm your school’s process before registering.

Student Self-Registration Instructions

  • Priority student registration opens on September 10th and runs through October 3rd!
  • If your school contact has asked you to self-register, please review and follow the steps below.
  • There is a limited number of seats available for each session. Students are asked to identify their top 4 choices from each block during registration.
  • If a student’s top choice is unavailable, they will be assigned to their second choice, and so on.

Group A Sessions
  • Review the sessions available in Group A and identify your top 4 choices.
  • You will be assigned one career area to attend during the Group A Breakout Session based on your identified rankings and session availability.

Occupational Description

  • Aviation careers include transportation of passengers and cargo by flight and support of flight transportation
  • Concentrate on operations and/or maintenance used with unmanned aerial or ground vehicles.
