About the Northern Valley Career Expo – Schools

Get ready for the exhilarating Northern Valley Career Expo! The Expo is set up to welcome students for one day of high-impact career exploration. Schools can attend either the morning session or the afternoon session. Both sessions include opportunities for students to connect with exhibitors from businesses and educational institutions in the interactive exhibit hall.

Students can attend two exciting break-out sessions to learn more about careers in the region. Students select the break-out sessions beforehand, giving them a personalized itinerary when they arrive at the Expo. Break-out sessions and exhibitor discussions offer valuable information to students, guiding them in preparing to pursue a career path.

Tips & Resources

Help students make the most of their experience at the Expo! Encourage students to be curious. Ask presenters and exhibitors questions. For instance, asking questions such as “Does a career in your industry require an apprenticeship, internship, on-the-job training, or higher education?” can be valuable to students and their parents as they consider post high school graduation plans.
